PROJECTS

As an interdisciplinary designer, my work often brings together making and thinking through storytelling. My work intersects design strategy, research, writing, art, curation, exhibition and experience design.

 
 

AFFORD NATION

2019

Working with my classmates from the Institute Without Boundaries, we produced Afford Nation, a fake political launch party and exhibition. This event was an opportunity to engage the public with our design research on affordability.

in/future festival

Curator & Coordinator in/store + in/fo centre

2016

Acting as a hub and staring point for the arts festival, the in/fo centre provided historical information to contextualize the site and inform the curatorial vision, while in/store provided an opportunity for festival goers to take home handmade goods or a slice of the event.

Community In Place

Institute Without Boundaries Design Charrette Project

2019

As a team facilitator for this Institute Without Boundaries design charrette, my team developed a winning concept for an affordable housing co-op model that would fight community displacement for our client West Neighbourhood House.

Art Spin

Since 2009 Art Spin has been activating decommissioned venues and unique public spaces to produce large scale group exhibitions along with curated bicycle-led art tours to showcase a wide range of newly commissioned art programming in unique site-specific settings. Art Spin is driven by a strong sense of commitment and passion for presenting contemporary artworks in alternative, everyday spaces in order to make its audience’s experiences with art more engaging and exciting.

International market research & strategy

2011-2018

Throughout various roles in Admissions & Recruitment and International Relations, I developed an Internationalization strategy which required building relationship both inside and outside of the institution, developing goals that aligned with the strategic plan and metrics to measure their success.

Common Good

CHARRETTE PROJECT

2018

Exploring ideas of community and new forms of creating capital outside of traditional economics models, Common Good aimed to build neighbourhood connections through the development of an app and digital community bulletin board.
